- There are 3.07 million call center agent positions
- Large contact centers (more than 250 agent positions) employ 34% of call center staff, but comprise less than 4% of the physical contact centers
- The mean average contact center size is 54 agent positions
In Canada:
- There are presently 3,950 contact centers
- There are 290,500 call center agent positions
- The mean average contact center size is 74 agent positions
